ABOUT ON THE PITCH FÚTBOL
EVERY PLAYER DESERVES TO BE SEEN, CHALLENGED, AND DEVELOPED.
I’m Leo Duncan, founder of On The Pitch Fútbol. I created OTP to give young players more than another hour of training: coaching that understands where they are, challenges them with purpose, and helps them take ownership of their development.
WHY I STARTED OTP
I grew up playing soccer in the streets of Congo for the joy of it. When I came to the U.S., I began playing structured soccer in 2016. That was the first time I wore soccer boots.
I was told more than once that I was “behind technically.” I knew I had a lot to learn, but I didn’t know what that meant for me. What was I struggling with? What should I practice first? How would I know I was getting better?
For a while, the answer was simply to work on my technical skills. I wanted to do the work. I needed someone to help me understand where to begin.
One coach did. He helped me see that I needed to become more comfortable with the ball, gave me a place to start, and showed me how to build from there. I took that guidance seriously, practiced on my own, and kept working. Having something specific to work toward changed the way I trained.
That experience stayed with me. It’s why I started On The Pitch Fútbol. I want to understand each player before deciding what they need. I want to give them feedback they can use, a clear place to start, and support as they build on it.
Every player deserves the chance to develop as an individual. When they grow, they bring more to their team, too.

WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOUR PLAYER
“WORK HARDER” ISN’T A PLAN.
KNOW WHERE TO START
We look at your player’s strengths, challenges, and goals to identify what needs attention first—giving their effort a clear focus.
UNDERSTAND WHAT TO CHANGE
We explain and demonstrate what to adjust, then help your player practice it. Feedback gives them something specific to try on the next repetition.
HAVE SUPPORT TO KEEP TRYING
Your player gets room to ask questions, make mistakes, and try again—with encouragement and challenges that grow as they improve.
WE GIVE THEIR EFFORT DIRECTION.
YOUR PLAYER DOESN’T NEED ANOTHER GUESS.
Tell us where they are, what they’re working toward, and where they need support. We’ll review what you share and talk with you about the right starting point for their development.
